Words for Water

“Words for Water” evolved out of a surfeit of Birthday cake and a love of words! The idea of sharing both in a relaxed, informal atmosphere took off and the group is now some 25 strong, including members of both St Nicholas and St Mary Magdalene congregations.

Meetings take place in the Parish Centre on Saturday mornings, once a month. As our name implies, we support the charity WaterAid and occasionally give presentations in both churches, sometimes as part of events in the church calendar, sometimes as a fundraiser.
If you would like to join us in the exploration, while supporting the most essential element of life, you will receive a very warm welcome

Our presentation of readings "with a flavour of Harvest" for the Mothers' Union afternoon meeting on 17th October at St Mary's Sunbury was a great success. We had a good sized audience, and their enjoyment was palpable.
